Thank you very much for choosing us as your tour operator, please be sure to carefully read these terms and make sure you understand your rights and obligations and our rights and obligations. We will send you a Tour Contract after we confirm all the reservations and arrangements. In the tour contract, we will list all arrangements of your tour as well as terms and conditions.
Reservations, Deposit & Balance
A certain deposit will be required at the time of booking. The balance payment is required on your first arriving day in Lhasa.
Receipt of your deposit payment will indicate that you (your travel agent when applicable) have read these terms and conditions and you (your travel agent when applicable) have totally accepted them.
This terms and conditions form the basis of the contractual relationship between GoToTibet.com and its clients. It is very important that our clients understand and accept all the terms and conditions as well as the quotations, itineraries and other relevant agreement with our trip advisors.
Here’s the charge standard for the tour:

Note:
1. All the quotation/payment are based on CNY, and the exchange rate of USD to CNY is based upon the prevailing rates in China. Group Tibet tour currently quotes tour prices in US Dollars is to give you an idea of the tour cost and quote in CNY to you at the time when you are making bookings. (Chinese Yuan converts to US dollars at the rate or CNY6.2=US$1 at our quotation now.)
2. Before you pay, please check our exchange rate against your bank’s exchange rate and your bank’s transaction fee policy. Difference of the exchange rate, service charge from the banks and Credit Card Company will make the amount arrived in our account finally different from what we agreed at the booking. Should a revaluation of the CNY occur, customers will be required to pay the difference between the old and new price calculated in CNY.
3. This charge is only for the tour package we offered in Tibet. Train tickets fare/airfare excluded. 100% airfare/ train tickets fare will be required to pay as well as the tour fare in the meanwhile.
Alteration
Before your booking is confirmed, alternations to your itinerary are happily processed free of charge. However, alterations will incur a fee of $20 per request after the payment of deposit and changes to departure date or destination may incur cancellation fees. All changes are subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed.
GoToTibet.com reserves the right to modify the itinerary of your tour if air schedule of surface transportation changes, and/or events beyond its control make such alterations necessary. In this event, any of the increase or reduction of the tour cost will be calculated and charged/refunded accordingly. If it is you who request the changes to your tour, then you will be required to pay any additional cost in advance.
Cancellation or Refunds
We would deeply regret your decision to cancel your trip to Tibet, however we realize that there are many valid reasons that this can happen.
In the event of cancellation we will refund any payment made to GoToTibet.com (less any cancellation fee that is applicable) within 15 days of our receipt of your written cancellation request.
Cancellations will only be accepted by writing and scanning of signature to us (email/ fax is fine). Cancellation terms will be applied based on the date that the written cancellation is received.

Note:
1. After the trip has commenced, we are unable to refund any amount for unused services due to your willingness, early departure, late arrival, or missed days on tours.
2. Full refund of the tour fare only applies to the one meets the following 2 conditions:
a. the booking made 30 days+ prior the departure date of the tour
b. Written cancellation made within 7 days after the booking made
3. Bank & credit card charges for the refund excluded.
4. Difference on the exchange rate excluded.
5. Flight/train cancellation charged from the air company and the train bureau excluded
Travel Documentation
You are responsible for ensuring that you are in possession of the required travel documentation such as visas and passports and that they are valid and effective for all countries passed through en-route. We cannot be held responsible for expenses incurred if travel documentation does not meet the required criteria. If you are in doubt, please contact the relevant embassy or consulate.
Travel Insurance
GoToTibet.com packages include China Life Tourist Accident/Casualty Insurance up to a maximum of CNY250,000 provided free of charge as part of our package. However, we still strongly recommend that you purchase insurance from your country of origin or from WorldNomads.com which covers for trip cancellation and interruption, baggage protection and delay, travel accidents and delay, and emergency medical and dental services and associated transportation. Liability Disclaimer
GoToTibet.com shall not be liable for any loss, injury, or damage to person or property, alteration of itineraries or cancellation in part or in full, caused by climatic conditions, sea fire, breakdown of machinery or equipment, acts of government or other authorities, wars whether or not declared, civil disturbances, strikes, riots, thefts, epidemics, quarantines, medical or customs regulations, terrorist activities, or any other actions, omissions or conditions beyond GoToTibet.com's control. Neither GoToTibet.com nor any of its affiliates or subsidiaries shall be or become liable or responsible for any additional expenses of liability sustained or incurred by the tour member as a result of any of the aforementioned causes. The passengers are responsible to pay for the extra cost in these cases.
Some of GoToTibet.com’s tour packages include activities that require care attention. Such activities include climbing hills, strenuous trekking, rafting and entering and exiting tombs and caves etc. You will receive help and advice from our representatives but all activities are undertaken at your own risk. GoToTibet.com, its employees and agents cannot be responsible for any action or event that occurs after its employees and agents have exercised their duty and taken the necessary care.
GoToTibet.com shall not be responsible for any errors, emissions or inaccuracies in information, wrongful or negligent or fraudulent, omissions, changes of itinerary, cancellation or the failure of any equipment operated by those suppliers or any other party not directly owned or controlled by GoToTibet.com. GoToTibet.com is not responsible for a client's failure to comply with customs regulations. GoToTibet.com is not responsible for the theft or loss of any customer's valuables or items of personal property due to the negligence of the customer. GoToTibet.com reserves the right to substitute hotels, flights, to alter itineraries, or to cancel the tour prior to departure. If GoToTibet.com has cancelled any tour prior to the commencement of the tour, GoToTobet.com is liable for a full refund of the money received from the client.
If there is any problem occurred, please let your Tibet Advisor know immediately. Sometimes the disputes or the problem could be solved at once and your telephone fee is to be refunded if there is any. However, if you, for some reason, do not inform your Tibet Advisor on the occasion when it happens, we will consider there’s no problems at all. Hence any demands after the tour will be considered as the ineffective ones.
GoToTobet.com reserves the right to amend this Agreement at any time by posting the amended terms on the site at which time such change will be immediately effective.
If the negotiations will not work out, GoToTibet.com only agrees to appoint Arbitral Organization located in China for the disputes. And the Court of Law close to GoToTibet.com is agreed to be appointed for the legal settlement.
Airfare
All airfare quotes are subject to change without notice until held or purchased. If your package includes airfare, your flights will be listed and costs will be reflected in your total quoted purchase price. However, GoToTibet.com cannot guarantee schedules or rates until airfare is ticketed as flight costs and availability are continually changing and may result in slight or occasionally substantial differences until time of acceptance.
The customer is responsible for providing any schedule requests prior to acceptance of quote. If a time preference is not made for flights included within program proposals, the schedule will be auto-selected according to the logical order and coordination with surrounding components. The client will be responsible for any cost differences or change fees incurred if schedule preferences are not given until after ticketing is complete.
Health Issues
Currently, Tibet does not require the tourists from major western countries immunizations. However, it is subject to change at any time. It is the tourists' sole responsibility for compliance with vaccination and other health requirements of Chinese government. Please consult a physician before making the trip. Visitors with respiratory or cardiac problems should avoid such high altitudes.
Complaints and Claims
Shall you feel unsatisfied with any service GoToTibet.com has provided, please notify your local tour guide or your travel advisor to avoid the potential for similar problems happening again during your trip.
In the event of a complaint or claim for compensation, you must inform us by email, regular mail, or facsimile in writing within 15 days from the end of your tour. Relevant receipts and substantiating evidence must be attached to the letter of claim. GoToTibet.com will not be liable for any claims made later than 15 days after the completion of your tour.
